News from Laroussi lake

NEW ADDITIONAL STOCKING, 12th Dec
Last january, we stocked in the new stockpond, 40 beautiful scaly fish, all weighing just 3kg (6lb10oz).
There is a mixture of scale pattern : linear, ziplinear, fully scaled, heavily scaled, and one perfect leather.
The quality of this special strain is exceptional : the growth, the beauty and the potential are amazing !
Thursday, 8th of december, we net the stockpond and managed to catch 27 of them (We will try to catch the remaining fish later).
To be honest, we were shocked by the size !!
All fish weights were between 12 to 23lb. That’s make an average growth of 9.5lb in just one season !! 3 fish reached 20lb+ at 20lb, 22lb and the biggest being 23lb ! That is over 16lb of growth !
All those virgin fish have been stocked in Laroussi. They will push the original stock to move and feed more.
In a couple of years, they will look like the famous « big fully scaled » caught in november at 65lb4oz (check photo)

Simon Returns, 1st Dec
Simon returned to fish L'Anse for the night and was rewarded with this 56lb mirror.

Red Letter Session for Sébastien, 30th Nov
A dream session for Sébastien fishing Le Chêne swim on Laroussi for a couple of days last week. Yep that's a 60lb common, 48lb zip linear, 55lb mirror, 43lb mirror and finally a 51lb mirror. Congratulations!

New lake record !, 29th Nov
Congratulations to Sébastien Piau for catching the new Laroussi lake record common, 60lb. That is also the first 60lber common. He also broke the lake record zip linear at 48lb.
During this 3 days winter fishing, Sébastien landed 20 fish! 15 carp and 5 tench. Here the details:
