Details of your catches:

There were around over 30 fish out, we had quite a few small commons and doubles. but then fish ranged through to the biggest which was 52lb. We lost a lot of fish too we had a crazy week with hooks breaking.Lines breaking and general tackle issues. I personally lost around 5 fish. We had a couple of sturgeon. but nothing really massive. we couldn't understand the tackle issues, never known it before. Carp also spawning again.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

we have fished the venue 3 times before and used our normal tactics of just a little bait. We know the carp don't fish well on loads of bait but in retrospect we should have used more bait as they unusually really on the feed, whereas normnally less is more it probably wasn't the right tactic this time.

General Comments:

Love the lake, every fish in Laroussi is worth something. You have to fish, it's a difficult lake but when you catch you know youv'e earned the fish and that makes it special.

6 x 50`s to 59lb 8oz, 11 x 40`s to 49lb, lost count of 30`s, a few 20`s, 14 Grasses, 1 sturgeon of 53lb, a French record Tench of 12lb 4oz ( well done Ade ). A special mention to Craig who caught 29 carp this week breaking his P.B. 3 times, top angling mate.Also a mention for Mickey Fitz who once again took biggest fish money with a 59lb 8oz mirror (unlucky Adam 59lb, still not bad for your first trip to France ).We caught 71 fish for the week which Medhi said is a record. !!!!!!!!!!!!

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Start with stringers and build your swim over the week introducing more bait after every take. Don`t disregard the margins!!!!!

General Comments:

We caught 71 carp including 6 x 50`s to 59lb 8oz, 11 x 40`s to 49lb, lost count of 30`s, a few 20`s, 14 grassies and 1 sturgeon of 53lb... plus a French record tench of 12lb 4oz. A superb week’s fishing at a quality venue which in our opinion is Angling Lines best venue by far. As one of the lads kept saying all week, “I can`t believe it, it’s dream fishing, I‘m never going to have another week like it!" Well mate I think you will because we have already booked for next year!”

Details of your catches:

New French record tench out and we also had 6 x 50's up to 59lb included in the haul, A total of over 70 carp out in the week again a record for the lake. 1 sturgeon at 56lb. Everyone caught. excellent week.

Details of your catches:

Fish were getting ready to spawn and fishing was a bit slow due to weather which was really hot. my mate had a 53lb and 71lb carp. I had a 38lb and a 45 came out to one of the others. Plus a few sturgeon.

Had thought the cabin was closer than it was. the 70 yr old with us found that tough as the mini swim in front of the cabin were a bit overgrown.... he had a couple of sturgeon though but not everybody caught.
