Tough week on the lake. Fish held up in the middle and didnt move all week. I had 2 fish 44.8 and 49.5 both mirrors and my friend had a grass at 28 and a common at 32.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Take time finding a spot. Bait consistently on a tight area and wait. Double bottom baits seemed to do the fish. Fish only got on bait after 24 hours being in water so well worth washing your baits out.

Medhi is a top bloke and the lake is beautiful, no question. Really nice feel to the place. Don't expect loads of runs as it's not easy. However there are some very big fish in there and it's well worth a visit.

Simon: 60+ sturgeon and 31lb common from Le Haut Fond Graham: small cat from La Pointe Mark: small cat and 46lb mirror from les deux Saules

Hard to say what was best when we had so few runs. All fish caught were on conventional bottom rigs/baits except one small cat on Halibut pellet. We scattered boilies in the general area we were fishing, but did not put in too much bait as fish were not feeding hard.

Laroussi is not many easy water (we have been before so knew what to expect), but it has many superb fish of different species, which is what we wanted. Mehdi is the perfect fishery owner: he is there when you need him but leaves you alone to fish.

The week proved to be a tough weeks fishing with very few fish being caught prior to the week of our arrival aswell. Trickling bait in little and often seemed to be the method of the week and just fishing for a bite at a time.

Yes the lake is great and some really nice fish to be caught, mehdi was great he met us on the first day and showed us round the lake and swims and then left us to our own devices until the morning we left.
