Only able to fish three nights due to work commitments and found the fishing to be on the slow side with only one fish a superb 31.15 mirror, lost a couple of others!!! (the ones you lose always seem bigger don't they!)

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

The carp caught was on a trigga 18mm bottom bait tipped with small piece of plastic corn, other rods fished boilies over hemp and corn but following a change to corn on the hook fished over the hemp & corn hooked but lost two fish on our last day - should have tried this sooner I think.

Although the fishing was slow we had a great time on this fantastic lake, it's not a lake for getting lots of fish but you just know that the next one could be a monster! we will be back! Thanks Medhi & thanks Angling Lines for a really helpful, friendly and efficient service yet again.

Carp company and Premier boilies plus plenty of Hemp and partiblend fishing with a snowman 16mm+10mm pop'up. Used the Frontier developments baitboat (Beaver)

General Comments:

Clean and tidy and well managed venue. Mehdi says : AWESOME WEEK ! The new lake record grass carp 50lb 8oz is huge ! a big 39lb+ mirror average ; 4 fifties , 8 forties , and several thirties. A BIG well done guys !

I think small boilies fished over particle like hemp or parti-blend was probably the most effective method at the time we were there.critically ballanced 10 to 14mm hookbaits fished over the particle did seem to work quite well.I took 17 kilos of boilies,which really is not allot for a weeks fishing in france,and i came home with about 12 kilo!Really should have taken more hemp!This may not be the case all the time,eg straight after spawning or just when they are really having it,in which case you could probably pile the bait in.

lovely looking water,and surroundings.medhi the owner was really friendly and helpful,and just left you to angle in peace!

Lake was fantastic, host was just what you want, fishing was hard but expected, fish of a high quality & standard, would recommend this lake Laroussi to anybody who is interested in catching large quality specimens.
