End of year wrap up pt 1, 29th Dec
Just updating the archives with some of the catches from 2025. Plenty of PB's broken!
During the hotter months, the margins less than a foot deep worked well, especially in the far right corner. Early hours paid off for many 3am-8am. Some of the comments from guests included 'all fish very individual and in very good condition'. Double tiger nuts worked best as a wafter in the hot months but fish/squid wafters worked well too.

Soaking the pellet and boilies in water and creating a mush around the bait worked well when the weather was hot.

We've added a few new carp to the Lakeview family this month. All around 30lb, some koi to add too next month.

Winter Work, 20th Dec
The winter season is usually quiet on the bookings front but busy on the manual labour front and this winter is no exception. We've been hard at work replacing many of the footbridges and we'll soon start work on tidying up and reinforcing a couple of the banks...
